But I'll start off Day 4 by saying this was the first morning that we woke up to find cruise ships outside our door. Pretty fun surprise.
Heading out for a beach day at Mullet Bay.
Totally on accident but I was excited to see that I got a speed boat in the rear view mirror :)
Our beach chair view
And the crazy guys that kept us entertained (and don't worry he never hit the rocks... although you might think it from the picture)
This is the "Golden Eagle" the boat that we signed up for on Friday for an all day tour around the island. Sweet pics to come for that one :)
Mullet Bay is right above Maho where the planes landed
Anyone want a coconut? :)
So we started heading home at 4:30pm for a short 7 miles home... little did we know that we were going to spend TWO AND A HALF HOURS doing it?!?!
There is only one main road that goes around the island with only a few side roads that loop back to it. So since everyone gets off work the same time... the traffic is horrible! So yeah, we avoided driving around 5pm from there on out!
4:30pm-7pm... for a 7 mile trip. Ugh... at least we were on vacation :)
We saw signs for a restaurant that another 10yr vacationer had highly suggested we try. So we went home to freshen up and then came back for a fun evening.
The food was fantastic but these melon and guavaberry drinks were to die for :) and sadly I have not been able to reproduce them at home yet... but I'm going to keep trying!
And sadly this is a horrible picture but the guy was too good/funny for it to not make it to the blog. Pinapple Pete's was an outdoor restaurant with live Caribbean music. Pretty fun experience and this guys hair cracked me up. It was a fro that stood straight up and was dyed orange on top :P
