sometimes you just need to escape

...and so we did. just up and decided to spend a day on the beach.

and it was 6 hours of pure saturday sun-shining bliss.

p.s. whoever said Ocean City, MD wasn't wonderful? It may not be Florida or the Caribbean but I, for one, am a big fan of this regular summer day getaway of ours!
